society disappoints

It sadness me when a friend tells me he/she is gay, not because its against some stupid moral or religion, but because of the struggles they will go through to be happy and to have a family. this society i live in sickens me because when i look around all i see is hatred; people not being able live  their lives because of who they love, and children going into schools shooting, you think its a choice they made themselves. and in someways it is, but things push them to that point, the point of none acceptance. everything someone does gets put into a cup and when it over flows people blame the child. what is so hard about accepting people for who they are? there would be less suicides and murders in my opinion. and its not just bullies its parents too parents of the bullies and parents of the child with the gun, they need to realize that what they do affects the children around them and i have seen some childish parents on the internet smh. when they see you act that way they think its ok to do it as well. and if you see someone struggling don't turn a blind eye, lend a hand. as Melonie Dodd just told me "it only takes one person". don't you want to be that one person that changes someones life for the good? i know i do.

pain and suffering

Life is full of pain; it runs through our veins, it drips down into our souls like I thick, thick liquid of pain. People get hurt; some live with it and some can’t bare it anymore. This world this life, is just a series of pain everyone goes through. No one is ever happy and those who say they are lie, or their happiness fades as something worse replaces it. How can anyone be happy in a world of never ending desires?
But then again maybe the pain and suffering people go through leads us to a death of happiness. And the little things that make us happy now, are just glimpses of what is to come.
Maybe that is why the world suffers, so that someday we can appreciate what is to come, so that we see that we didn’t go through it all for nothing. Or maybe that’s what we have to believe to keep moving forward.
What if maybe we are all a phoenix bird, just waiting and going through the pain to get to our immortality; our rebirth.

The maybes of the world only to be answered in a grave.

its been a while

I haven’t posted in a while and if there are people out there reading this blog I’m sorry I haven’t posted sooner. So lately I have been struggling with some family issues. If you don’t know yet I have been disowned by my grandparents because I  support equal rights ( including gay rights) and my family disagrees with me and that’s ok I’m not asking them to change how they believe I accept the way they believe I just want them to do the same. but anyways lately every time they come around they act like nothing ever happened they act like they never told me I was going to burn in hell and it really hurts me, because they are turning the whole situation around on me and my sis (who also believes in equal rights) they keep saying things like " why don’t you come around anymore" "I’m going to hug you even if you don’t want me to" "you don’t love us". Like wtf? they are the ones that told us not to come around anymore, they told us "y'all will burn in hell!", my papaw even said " I’m not going to have the wrath of god on my hide because I support my grand-kids " so why are they acting like it’s our fault we don’t want be somewhere we aren't wanted? idk what to do anymore.

It's ur future not ur past

Some people say that our past defines who we are. In a way I can see how this may be true. I believe that the struggles people go through make them stronger, and the mistakes made makes people smarter, but to me this doesn't define you as a person. Who you are now in this moment defines who u are, but it will change as the future comes. People Change everyday. Some may not see it and the Change may not be for the best. My point is the past is the past. And the present is the present and the future is what ever you desire it to be. It's your choice on whether you want the past to define you or use it to create a better future.

Quote of the day

In today's world

12-year NBA veteran Jason Collins came out of the closet." It was very brave." People say, but Isn't it sad that in this day in this world telling and showing people who you really are gets on the news. The fact that one even has to hide themselves from the world sickens me. What gives us such high and mighty power to say who should be excepted and who shouldn't ? Who is the person that decides wether or not you should act or do a certain thing? Why does being who u are so bad for others? Maybe if Everyone started being themselves there could be hope; hope that in another day in another world there will be no shock when others are being themselves.
